Privacy policy

This policy covers this website and the private Maply Art Etsy tool. It is short because we collect very little.

What this website collects

Nothing about visitors. There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds, and no cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, sees ordinary request data (such as IP address) while it serves pages and may keep short technical logs for security and operations. The owner pages use HTTP Basic sign-in, which the browser handles itself.

What we read from Etsy

Only for our own shop, and only through the permissions on the app page: shop details, our listings (including prices and stock), and our orders, which can include buyer names and shipping addresses. We use that data to run the shop: keep records in step with Etsy, edit listings, and make and ship orders.

How fresh it is

Listing information we hold is never more than 6 hours behind Etsy. Everything else from Etsy is never more than 24 hours behind.

How long we keep it

• Order data is deleted within 90 days after the order is settled.
• Stored sign-in tokens are deleted when the owner disconnects the app.
• The record that the owner accepted the terms (time and version) is kept while the app is connected.

Who else gets it

Nobody, apart from Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and the shipping carrier that needs a buyer's delivery details to deliver an order. We do not sell, rent or trade Etsy data, we do not send it to advertising or marketing services, and we do not use it for analytics or AI training.

Security and breaches

Everything is served over HTTPS. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. If a security breach ever affects Etsy data, we will tell Etsy and the affected seller within 24 hours.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws you can ask to see, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and object to or limit how we use it. Email hello@maplyart.com; we answer within two working days.
